Experts say the best way to stay safe in a disaster is to know your neighbors. This free community event is all about connecting—meeting new neighbors and spending time with friends, old and new.
Your Mayacamas Volunteer Fire Foundation (MVFF) works to keep our community safe, informed, and connected. At the picnic, you’ll have a chance to:
- Hear from SVFD about the upcoming fire season
- Learn about current fuel reduction work in our area
- Find out how you can help us build a more fire-adapted community
- Participate in voting for new MVFF board members
- Learn about becoming a board member yourself!
What to bring
- A side dish or dessert to share
- Your own meat to grill
MVFF will provide
- Beer, wine, and soft drinks
- Condiments, plates, utensils, and glasses
- BBQs for grilling
